Passes and Permits

The LBJ National Grasslands is open free of charge to all visitors, however some areas do require day use passes and camping permits. Recreation day use passes are required and camping fees are charged at Black Creek Lake, East Coffee Mill Lake Recreation Area and West Lake Crockett. Day use fees range from $2-$4 each and camping fees are $4 per night.

Camping and Cabins

The LBJ Grasslands offers several campgrounds and primitive campsites for visitors to enjoy. Campgrounds are available at Black Creek Lake, East Coffee Mill Lake Recreation Area and West Lake Crockett. Camping fees are $4 per night. Some campgrounds offer water and vault toilets. No cabins are available.
